Family First Kentucky PAC began out of my frustration with our government. As a mother of four, I’m very concerned about what the future holds for my children and grandchildren. With our budget deficits and the decline in morality, without a change in leadership our children will not know the freedom and prosperity that we have enjoyed in the 20th Century.
I am convinced that unless we do our part in the political process, we forfeit the legitimacy of our complaints. If we wait until Election Day to join in, we’ve waited too late. We are a government of the people, by the people and for the people – and we, the people, need to stand up and get involved!
As I call candidates and interview them, I am encouraged by fine people that are running for the right reason – service. They are statesmen and stateswomen, not politicians. They have everything to lose and nothing to gain, but they are willing to make the sacrifice for our state and for the nation.
It is time for the women of Kentucky–mothers, grandmothers, aunts and sisters–to make their voices heard in Frankfort on behalf of the family and Kentucky values. We must link arms, all across the Commonwealth, and stand in support of the candidates who will fight for our families!
